How do I participate in Legion Mine Battles?
Click “Arena”, and then choose “Legion Mine Battle” to join.
Rules of Legion Mine Battles:
1. The cohesion of your legion can be strengthened by taking part in legion mine battles, with an added incentive of a silver reward for victorious combatants.
2. Legion mine battles unlock on the 12th day after the server opens. You will be unable to view the Legion Mines before that time.
3. The commander of any Legion with at least 30 members and not currently occupying a Mine can register for a Legion Mine Battle.
4. Legion Mine Battles are divided into Challenges, Defensive Battles, and Occupation Battles.
A. Occupation: Battle NPC troops for control of an unoccupied mine. Members of the Legion can collect silver once a day if the mine is successfully occupied.
B. Defensive Battles: Legions in occupation of a Mine will automatically enter a Defensive Battle before facing any challengers. The legion in occupation will first defend against acomputer controlled NPC Legion. As the time passes by, the NPC troops will grow stronger, and the silver collected will increase. Only after successfully defending against the NPC Legion will your legion proceed to face challengers on the battlefield.
C. Challenges: Face challenging legions on the battlefield. Victorious challengers will take the ownership of the mine, and gain access to bonus silver up to 5 times each day.
5. The occupation of a mine lasts for 5 days. After the 5-day limit, the mine will be automatically abandoned and the legion must register to reoccupy the mine.
6. Within each battle, 5 individual sorties are fought, splitting each Legion’s army onto 5 different battlefields. The Legion that wins at least 3 sorties will become the victor and occupy the Mine. You can use units supplied for free (5,000 basic units of each type), or Load units that you've built in game to use in battle. Casualties in the Arena will not result in real losses in game, you will have the same number of units available before and after each battle, regardless of outcome.
7. If an individual player has registered for a legion mine battle, registration must be canceled in order to re-rally troops. Once the battle has begun, you need to wait until all sorties are complete to re-rally your troops. Heroes enter battle in the same order they were signed up in, but the legion commander can adjust the deployment.
8. In legion mine battles, each mine gives different percent boosts to output. Mines with higher yields will be more hotly contested!
