During the event, Candy Canes can be found…
When Repairing City Walls, Expanding Markets, Improving Roads, or Patrolling Cities;
When taking part in Historical Campaigns.
Note:
During the event, you can exchange 5 Candy Canes for 1 Holiday Present. Each day at 3:00AM, all Candy Canes in your Inventory will be automatically exchanged for Holiday Presents at the ratio of 5:1. Any remainder Candy Canes will be left in your Inventory.
Candy Cane: 
The currency of the holidays. A tasty treat if enjoyed alone, but maybe it's worth saving a bunch and trading for something better? Use to restore 100 Stamina for a Hero of your choice.

Holiday Present: 
Receive either a Strategies of Master Fan scroll, a Christmas Tree, a Holiday Gift Pack, a Cosmic Pouch, or a Martial Catalogue upon use.

In order to keep your Warehouse and Granary from overflowing during this holiday, Clash of Kingdoms has temporarily provided two items endowed with the magic of holiday cheer —Magic Beans & Classic of Great Peace. Find them in the Emporium!
Items info:
Magic Beans: 
Use to double the Warehouse and Granary capacity of one manor. Can only be used from Dec. 23 00:00, 2010 to Jan 3 00:00, 2011 (PST).
Classic of Great Peace: 
Use in the Caves to engage one Hero in a 72-hour Intensive Study session. Can only be used from Dec. 23 00:00, 2010 to Jan 3 00:00, 2011 (PST).
Note: Remember to use your Magic Beans & Classic of Great Peace during the time limit (Dec. 23 00:00, 2010 to Jan 3 00:00, 2011 (PST)) , otherwise they will disappear from your Inventory when Event 3 is over.

You will receive the following bonus rewards for adding Gold during the event:
Add 100-199 Gold at once to receive Mithril x2, Candy Cane x1
Add 200-299 Gold at once to receive: Winter Sleigh x1, Candy Cane x1
Add 300-499 Gold at once to receive: Wrought Gold x2, Candy Cane x1
Add 500-999 Gold at once to receive: Christmas Tree x1
Add 1000-1999 Gold at once to receive: Manor Lord’s Token x1
Add 2000-4999 Gold at once to receive: Call to Arms x2
You will receive only the reward associated with the amount of Gold that you add and none of the rewards for lower brackets.

Winter Sleigh: 
Receive either a Wooden Token, a Craftsmen's Manual I, a Lu Ban Manual, an Explosive, a Vermillion Finch Banner, or a Spring Well White Bud upon use.
Manor Lord’s Token: 
Use to create a manor in any city regardless of manor capacity or rank requirement.
Note:
If Z adds 2100 Gold at once during the event, he will receive: Call to Arms x2. If X adds Gold 2 times during the event, once for 500 gold and again for 1600 gold, he will receive: Christmas Tree x1, Manor Lord's Token.
The prize will be sent to your Inventory immediately upon charging. If there is a particular bonus reward that you prefer, you can add multiple lumps of gold in that bonus package range to get the desired (E.g. You want to add 1000 Gold, but you would prefer to receive Mithril. You can add 100 Gold 10 times to get the first bonus package 10 times.)
